You do this
As a reach truck driver, you will be responsible for various tasks in the warehouse. You load and unload trucks and containers according to applicable regulations and ensure accurate recording of all product movements. You work primarily with a reach truck with heated cab, but also with an electric pallet truck or forklift to move goods safely and efficiently. In addition, you will independently handle the loading of ready orders and ensure correct and timely storage of products.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and doing minor maintenance on trucks and electric pump trucks are also among your duties. You respond to changed schedules and set the right priorities when loading and unloading freight. Together with your colleagues you make sure that the warehouse process runs smoothly and work together with other departments such as production and the business office. The position performs in day shifts, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

You are flexible and service-oriented, and you know how to build a good rapport with your colleagues and drivers. You work accurately and feel challenged to make processes run as efficiently as possible. You enjoy variety in your work, and have no objection to working in a low-temperature environment. In addition, you are willing to work overtime from time to time; these extra hours are compensated with a bonus and/or in the form of time-for-time.
You can
The following job requirements apply to this role:
- You have experience in logistics and/or in a warehouse environment;
- You have a reach truck, forklift and EPT certificate;
- You have a command of the Dutch, English or German language;
- Working in a cold environment is no objection for you. You will be working in an environment of -20 to +10 degrees;
- You are collegial, conscientious and flexible.
